Mission, Vision, & Strategy


The Elevate Leadership Summit (ELS) increases networking and collaboration opportunities, educates professionals on leadership and development skills, and provides opportunities for innovation and implementation in your organizations. It fosters collaboration between managers and their employees, encourages the development of new ideas at all levels, and allows attendees to effectively align strategy with execution.


The ELS seeks to elevate the professional community in southeastern Idaho and intends to become the premiere conference opportunity for business professionals across Idaho in areas of leadership, innovation, and collaboration. The ELS strives to inspire leaders and instigate growth to allow new opportunities and ideas to flourish.


The ELS is organized by the Idaho State University College of Business, Leadership Pocatello-Chubbuck Foundation, and Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Idaho. It is coordinated by the ELS Conference Committee. The ELS seeks to host an annual conference in Pocatello targeted at business professionals to increase leadership skills, encourage innovative ideas, and foster collaboration within and between organizations. The ELS will provide resources for professionals to align strategy and execution for businesses, serve as an instigator for growth by providing opportunities for collaboration and networking, bring in leaders from outside the community, and leverage existing resources within the community. No such conference currently exists in the area, and the ELS Conference Committee will strive to provide the best leadership conference in the area and meet the goals of the ELS Mission and Vision statements.
